"We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference." - Nelson Mandela
At first I just want to say, sorry, I didn't upload anything yesterday, but I was just so tired that I didn't have any energy to do it.
As you might have already noticed, today the topic isn't going to be "The Perks of Being a Wallflower". Today it's all about Nelson Mandela, a great man who did everything for his country.
So if you don't want to read this, you can skip it and come back tomorrow.
I haven't heard about Mandela, till I was 14 or something like that. In one of our classes we watched the movie "Invictus" which is about him, staring Morgan Freeman.
I know, that's not a lot, but there is one thing that film thought me.
It's important to stand up for yourself and try your best to be the person you want to be. It doesn't matter what your enemies might have done to you, as long as you can forgive them.
We worry such a lot about what we should wear, about school or boyfriends/girlfriends, but we forget the main reason, what life is about. It's about helping each other and loving you friends, family and even the strangers on the street as much as you can.
We spend such a lot of time, hating on someone and most of the time we can't even remember why we do. We should spend that time with the family or with friends, cause nobody know how long this bonds might last.
What Nelson Mandela told me, was to keep believing in myself and that even after the biggest storm, the sun will always shine.
All my best wishes to his family, his friends, his supporters.
